Behind the Scenes at Coin de Paix
A lot of work and shenanigans go into getting the chateau guest ready. Our château has an old benevolent soul and was left empty for 3 years before we purchased it and moved in in November 2024. After re-heating the inside and warming up the walls, there were a lot of cracks in the wood and paint. The bones of this 160 year old château are in magnificent shape, but as it stretched back into daily life it left us with many repairs to make. We are slowing filling cracks, sanding and painting this beautiful place. We are also bringing life back into it. Here’s a peek into our world.
